Returns & Exchanges
As an online retailer CASSON Hardware strives to provide the best service possible.
If you are unhappy with your purchase we are able to accept most* returns within 28 days of receipt.
We are unable to offer exchanges at this time, but are happy to process a return for applicable items and help you order the item you prefer.

We are unable to accept returns sent without prior written communication.
CASSON is happy to provide returns for almost all purchases, provided a return is requested within 28 days of receipt.
Items below may be accepted at the discretion of CASSON with a restocking fee of between 10-25%:
Lighting, Electrical, Door Hardware, Architectural Specialties Category, Washbasins, Vintage, Furniture
Items below are not eligible for returns and are final sale:
Oversized, Sanitary Collection, Bulk Orders (10+), Made-to-order, customized order or sale items.
Email returns@cassonhardware.com with your order number within 28 days of receipt. You will be sent an RMA form. Please note CASSON requires returned merchandise to have prior written communication and a valid RMA Form.
Please complete the form and return any items to the address provided. You will receive email confirmation once your return has been processed and accepted at our Toronto studio. Any refunds should appear within your account within five working days.
An RMA form is a Return Merchandise Authorization form. Once your return request has been approved, you will be emailed an RMA form. Filling out the form accurately and including it in your returning package is essential, so we have information to process your return.
Items returned without an RMA form will not be accepted.
Package returning, uninstalled items in their original packaging, and ensure there is packing to protect items in transit. Always include the RMA form within the package. Items without an RMA or order number will be unable to be accepted.
We strongly recommend that returns are made with tracking, insurance and signed for service. CASSON does not cover the cost of return shipping, nor any loss or breakages that occur during the return process.
If items show signs of installation or damage not reported in prior written correspondence we will be unable to offer a full return. In these cases you will be contacted.

If any of your items arrive damaged or faulty, or you're unhappy in any way, please contact us directly at warehouse@cassonhardware.com or your sales agent, within 7 days of receiving your items and our team will be happy to help. CASSON is not responsible for damage that occurs during installation.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept products damaged by installation. In rare occasions, if installation has exposed a fault pre-existing within the product we may be able to replace is or refund the product. Contact returns@cassonhardware.com with photos and your order number and we will try our best to assist you.
Please note - pre-drilling or pre-milling for hardware components is not recommended until all items are received and measured.There may be slight variations that could affect the installation of your hardware as many pieces are hand finished/ fabricated. Casson is not responsible for any damages or inconveniences resulting from the improper installation of the hardware.
Refunds will be sent to your original method of payment and processed within 10 business days of receipt. You will receive email confirmation once your return has been processed and accepted at our Toronto studio. If you haven't heard from us within that time, please email warehouse@cassonhardware.com with a copy of your proof of postage so they can enquire with the shipping provider. Any refunds should appear within your account within five working days.
