Mi & Gei finish samples are available in three options, designed for flexibility in both project planning and studio reference:

Individual Knob Samples: Order a single knob in your chosen finish for one-off color or material matching.
6-Knob Sample Set: A boxed collection of six cast metal knobs, offering a tactile and visual overview of our core finishes.
14-Swatch Material Kit: A compact boxed set of fourteen flat metal discs, each representing one of our finish options — ideal as a lightweight library tool for designers, architects, and collaborative teams.

Finish Notes

Natural Brass
Natural brass is a living finish, intentionally left unlacquered to allow the material’s character to evolve over time. It will gradually develop a unique patina, deepening in tone and softening in luster.

Bronze
Created through an oxidizing dip process that darkens the brass, producing a rich brownish-bronze tone. Each piece continues to evolve subtly with age and use.

Satin Nickel
A plated finish applied to solid brass through electrolysis, producing a smooth matte tone with a cool, understated elegance.

Carbon Black
Formed using an oxidizing dip process that darkens the brass to a deep black tone. As a living finish, subtle variations and patina development are expected.

What is a Living Finish?
A living finish is an unlacquered surface designed to change and mature with age. Natural oxidation, handling, and climate transform its character over time. These variations and patina are inherent qualities, not defects.
