Door Latches & Locks

Door latches, locks, and lock trim for residential and commercial doors. The collection covers mortise locks and passage latches, privacy thumb turns with indicators, key and blank escutcheons, locking flush pulls for sliding and pocket doors, and push-to-open and pocket door latches.

A latch holds a door closed and releases when the lever or knob is turned. A lock adds a bolt thrown by a key or thumb turn, so the door can't be opened from the other side until it is unlocked. Bathrooms and bedrooms usually take a privacy lock with a thumb turn, entry doors a keyed lock, and closets and passage doors a latch alone.

Makers include Formani, Vervloet, d line, Halliday Baillie, Sugatsune, SAB, Verum Italy, CES, Noha, and Mi & Gei. Many thumb turns and escutcheons belong to the same series as the maker's door levers, so lock trim can match the handles.
