The Ballet Door Lever Handle Light by Vervloet is a hand-forged brass door lever with a refined angular shape and dual-tone brass. A subtle waved line alters the lever's flat face, while a distinctive projection extends slightly over the shaft — adding a nuanced architectural touch. The compact "Light" version is the shorter of the two Ballet lever variants.
Part of the Ballet collection, designed by Stijn D'hondt for Vervloet. The collection invokes the tension inherent in dance — strength with deceiving lightness, classic lines with a graceful flourish. Multiple straight lines are bisected by an elegant curve. Each piece is hand-forged and finished by master artisans.

Each lever is sold individually — order a quantity of two for a full set. Each handle must be paired with a corresponding rose (sold separately): Ballet Circle Rose.
European roses are smaller than standard North American models. Verify all dimensions carefully — these may not fit existing or pre-bored door holes.

Vervloet is our most bespoke door hardware line — hand-forged in Belgium and configured à la carte. Each project is quoted to your exact door, finish, and function requirements.
How Vervloet is configured
- Levers or knobs: sold individually, per side of the door.
- Roses or rosettes: sold separately. Order one rose per lever or knob.
- Thumb turn & emergency release: sold as separate Vervloet components in matching collection finishes.
- Keyed entry: paired with CES euro profile cylinders, specified separately.
- Latch / lock body: Vervloet hardware installs on a euro mortise lock case, sized to your door.
Function (specify per door)
- Passage — unlocked operation for halls, closets, and openings that don't require privacy.
- Privacy — interior locking via thumb turn, typical for bathrooms and bedrooms.
- Keyed Entry — paired with a CES euro profile cylinder for exterior or secured doors.
- Dummy — non-operating, surface-mounted for inactive doors or closet pulls.

Installation Notes
Pre-drilling or pre-milling for hardware components is not recommended until all items are received and measured.
There may be slight variations that could affect the installation of your hardware as many pieces are hand finished / fabricated.
