These precision-engineered 5x5 mm spindles are specifically designed to convert d line door hardware, which typically accommodates 8x8 mm spindles, for use with North American tubular latch mechanisms. They ensure a seamless fit and reliable functionality, making them ideal for adapting toilet indicator components or thumb turns to North American standards. 

Each spindle is sold individually and is intended to be cut to the required length on-site, offering maximum adaptability to various door thicknesses.

Spindle Dimensions:

• Tubular Spindle: 5 mm (0.19") x 5 mm (0.19") x 85 mm (3.3")
• Rigidiser (optional): Ø19 mm (0.7") x L 90 mm (3.5")

Compatibility:

• Converts 8x8 mm spindle mechanisms for use with North American tubular latches.
• Suitable for doors with 8 mm spindles and 38 mm fixing centre roses (M5 screws).

• Designed for adapting European door hardware to North American tubular mechanisms.
• Suitable for half or full sets of knob or lever handles.
• Customizable length for various door thicknesses (cut to size on-site).

To fit in a door:

• Drill Ø19+ hole in the door to a length of 90 mm.
• Make holes for lever handle fitting with a backset of 60 mm.
