Forme No. 18 Door Lever

The Forme No. 18 Door Lever by Mi & Gei is a hand-cast solid brass door lever defined by its stepped profile and ridged detailing, evoking the precision of Art Deco architecture. Designed for passage, privacy, and dummy applications in residential and hospitality interiors.

Hand-cast in Mumbai from solid, unlacquered brass. Each lever offers a satisfying weight and tactile presence, with subtle surface variations inherent to the casting process.

Passage

For doors that require latching but no locking (e.g., hallways, closets).

Dummy (Half or Full Set)

For decorative or push/pull applications, such as closet or pantry doors.

Half Dummy Set — A single lever installed on one side of the door with no hardware on the reverse.

Full Dummy Set — A pair of levers installed on both sides of the door, providing a balanced look with no latch or locking function.

Please Note: Mi & Gei dummy handles are not sold as a pre-configured set. They are available as individual Right or Left Dummy units. Order both for a full dummy configuration.

Sold as a complete tubular latch set — all components required for installation are included. Configuration depends on the function selected:

• Passage — interior doors that latch but do not lock (hallways, closets, pantries). Includes pair of levers, tubular latch, and strike plate.
• Privacy — doors that lock from one side with a thumb turn and emergency release (bathrooms, bedrooms). Includes pair of levers, privacy tubular latch, and strike plate.
• Keyed Entry — exterior or secured doors operated by a key cylinder on one side and a thumb turn on the other. Includes pair of levers, keyed tubular latch, strike plate, and cylinder.
• Dummy — non-operating decorative lever for fixed panels or inactive leaves of double doors.

Door compatibility: Installs into standard pre-bored doors using a tubular latch.
