Description
The Rene Dummy Door Knob by Vervloet is a hand-forged fixed door knob with a slim ovalesque bowl — inspired by the designer's tobacco pipe. Back-to-back installation with threaded rod, or screw for single-sided applications. Intended for fixed position (not operable usage). Optional security adjustment available.
Part of the Rene collection, designed by Jean-François D'Or for Vervloet. Whimsical and sculptural — a wink to surrealist artist Magritte. The line reflects D'Or's utilitarian vision while conveying a discrete sense of poetry, finding clarity in existing objects. Subtle lines reminiscent of 1920s design.
Since 1905, Vervloet has been creating luxurious, high-end hardware. One of Europe's finest ateliers of decorative hardware — creating objects of unparalleled beauty with quality craftsmanship. Made in Belgium.
