Top Mounted Bi-Part Barn Door Hardware

This bi-part barn door hardware features a dual-door mechanism on a single track, providing a practical solution for space optimization and efficient door management. Two doors slide in opposite directions to open and meet at the center to close.

Engineered from durable materials such as brass and steel, the hardware is built for longevity and smooth, consistent performance. Available finishes include Brass, Raw Steel, Stainless Steel, and Black to suit a range of design requirements.

For layouts that require additional flexibility, a Bypass option is also available.

Pre-Drilled vs. Non Pre-Drilled Holes

• Pre-drilling available — please specify when ordering. Choose pre-drilled or not pre-drilled based on your installation needs.
• Pre-drilled holes are spaced evenly every 14.75”–17.25” along the track.
• Pre-drilled tracks must be mounted on a backing piece to ensure the door clears baseboards or moldings.
• Not pre-drilled tracks can be installed directly to the wall if baseboards are flush and there is adequate blocking within the wall.

Track Length & Measuring

• Order a track at least twice the door width, plus a minimum 2" overlap on each side.
• The door should be 4" wider than the opening (2" overlap per side) and large enough to cover any casing.
• Tracks over 93" are shipped in two pieces.
• Recommended headroom: 8"–10" (minimum 6").

Weight Capacity

• Rated for doors up to 200 lbs per pair of hangers. Actual capacity varies based on wall structure and fastening method.

Custom Finishes

• Please Note: For Black Powder Coated “Not Pre-drilled” orders, a 1.5″ hole will still be drilled at each end for hanging during the powder coating process.

Additional Components

• The Floor Guide is a small bracket mounted at the bottom of the door to keep it aligned.
• While not required, a floor guide is highly recommended for stability.

*Suitable for outdoor applications; finishes will patina more quickly when exposed to the elements.

Constructed from solid brass, stainless steel, and other heavy metals for strength and longevity.

For strength, bolts are brass-plated steel. Brass components are lightly oiled to preserve the natural patina and extend longevity. Brass can be used outdoors, but patina will develop faster.

High-quality solid brass rollers with double built-in ball bearings ensure smooth, quiet motion.
