The Prado Unifit Corded Outlet is a modular power solution that pairs a versatile corded outlet with a customizable cover plate for selecting finish and 15-amp configuration. Designed for plug-and-play convenience, the corded version includes a 5 ft. cable with a NEMA 5-15 plug, allowing flexible installation into wood, stone, and furniture applications. This version is not suitable for in-wall installations and does not meet electrical code for drywall mounting. Its sleek, unobtrusive design integrates seamlessly into any interior, delivering both functionality and style.

The corded version is ideal for built-in furniture, such as desks, cabinets, and other furniture items, where hardwiring is not feasible. Unlike the hardwired version, the corded version offers flexibility and ease of installation without the need for extensive electrical work. This makes it perfect for retrofitting existing setups or adding outlets to areas where hardwiring would be difficult or impractical.

Flush Mounting - Furniture & Solid Surface

✔ Installation:

• Material must be countersunk to 38mm (1.5") depth to accommodate the outlet body and cover plate.
• This creates a seamless, recessed finish.
• Suitable for desks, cabinetry, built-ins, and solid furniture pieces where precise drilling is possible.

Surface Mounting - Easier Installation

✔ Best for: Quick installs on furniture and other solid surfaces
✔ Look: Outlet protrudes slightly 2.5mm (0.1") above the surface
✔ Installation:

• If not countersunk, the outlet sits slightly above the mounting surface.
• The patented adjustable lugs provide a secure hold for varying panel thicknesses.
• Optional trim rings (sold separately) help create a refined look and cover minor drilling imperfections for a polished finish.

• Installation Restriction: For furniture applications only. This product is not intended for in-wall installation and does not meet electrical code for drywall mounting.

• Branch Circuit Requirement: Each corded outlet must be connected to a dedicated branch circuit to ensure safe and proper operation. This means it cannot be daisy-chained or wired in series with other outlets. Unlike hardwired installations, where multiple outlets can be connected within the same circuit, each corded unit must have its own direct connection to an electrical source.

• Drill: Create a 34.9mm (1.37") hole in the material of choice (flush mount countersink is optional).
• Connect: Plug the outlet into a standard NEMA 5-15 socket.
• Fixate: Secure the outlet into place using the patented lug system, compatible with panel thicknesses from 6.3mm (0.25") - 34.9mm (1.37").
• Finish: Add your preferred cover plate; optional trim rings are available to cover minor imperfections or enhance aesthetics.
