Description
The Ballet Lever Handle by Vervloet is a hand-forged solid brass door lever designed by Stijn D'hondt, featuring a refined angular profile with a dual-tone finish and a subtle waved line that modifies the lever's flat surface. Compatible with both square and round roses. Each piece is crafted to order by master artisans. Made in Belgium.
Established in 1905, Vervloet is one of Europe's last remaining ateliers of handmade decorative hardware.

Each lever is sold individually. For full functionality, a quantity of two is recommended. Each handle must be paired with a corresponding rose and components, sold separately.
Important: The rose required for this handle is sold separately — view here. European roses are typically smaller than standard North American models. Review all dimensions carefully — these handles may not fit existing or pre-bored door holes without adjustments.

Ordering Guide
Vervloet is our most bespoke door hardware line — hand-forged in Belgium and configured à la carte. Each project is quoted to your exact door, finish, and function requirements.
How Vervloet is configured
- Levers or knobs: sold individually, per side of the door.
- Roses or rosettes: sold separately. Order one rose per lever or knob.
- Thumb turn & emergency release: sold as separate Vervloet components in matching collection finishes.
- Keyed entry: paired with CES euro profile cylinders, specified separately.
- Latch / lock body: Vervloet hardware installs on a euro mortise lock case, sized to your door.
Function (specify per door)
- Passage — unlocked operation for halls, closets, and openings that don't require privacy.
- Privacy — interior locking via thumb turn, typical for bathrooms and bedrooms.
- Keyed Entry — paired with a CES euro profile cylinder for exterior or secured doors.
- Dummy — non-operating, surface-mounted for inactive doors or closet pulls.

Lead times for Vervloet are extended due to hand-forging and custom finishing. Our team will confirm timing and pricing as part of your quote.
Installation Notes
Pre-drilling or pre-milling for hardware components is not recommended until all items are received and measured.
There may be slight variations that could affect the installation of your hardware as many pieces are hand finished / fabricated.
