Description

The Painted Range by Forbes & Lomax provides primed, ready-to-paint plates that sit flush to the wall. Each plate can be painted onsite to match the wall colour for a subtle, unobtrusive look, while the switch mechanism is supplied in the finish of your choice.

Painted rotary dimmers push to switch on/off and rotate to dim and brighten, based on the elegant nickel and brass switches of the 1930s. Can be mixed with Toggle Switches and push buttons on the same plate. 1–4 gang configurations.

Established in 1987, Forbes & Lomax is a UK-based heritage electrical brand recognized by architects and designers for refined switch and outlet design.

Rotary dimmers conform to UL 1472 and are certified to CSA C22.2 No. 184
Supplied as 3-way (can also be used as single pole). Only one dimmer per 3-way or 4-way circuit — other positions require toggle switches
Must be installed by a licensed electrician
Junction boxes must be recessed below the finished wall surface by at least 1/8"

For compatibility with higher wattage lights, transformer/driver-based fixtures, or non-replaceable LEDs, email lighting specifications before purchase. Areas of application: light-duty commercial, residential.
