TRUFIG is a revolutionary design solution that allows electrical components to be seamlessly mounted flush into walls or ceilings, creating clean lines and eliminating interior distractions.

The TRUFIG Leviton Drywall Outlet System uses trusted Leviton components to create a minimal, elevated solution. The installation process is efficient using a kit of parts. The system includes a mounting platform that is installed directly to the studs, a trim component, and a fascia.

Product Compatibility

  • Solid Surface Options: Compatible with 1/2" and 5/8" solid surfaces.
    • Wood
    • Glass & Mirror
    • Stone
    • Tile - for small or fragile tiles, plaster shim and tile dam accessories are recommended.
  • Drywall Options: Compatible with 1/2" and 5/8" drywall sheet.
  • Fascia Matching: There are 2 ways to match the fascia to the base installation material:
    • Field Painting: Lightly paint the fascia to match the wall color, maintaining precision fit.
    • Faux Finishing: Transform the fascia with decorative finishes like marble, wood, or Venetian plaster.
  • Not Included Components: This system does not include a Leviton Outlet module; these components should be sourced independently.

To configure your TRUFIG Leviton Outlet System:

  1. Work Through Each Section: For each outlet system, go through each section and select the appropriate options for the Mounting Platform, Trim Component, and Fascia Cover Plate. 1 of each component is required to complete the system, with each component serving a specific purpose to suit design needs.

  2. Required Components:

    • A - Mounting Platform: Made of engineered drywall, the mounting platform provides the foundation for integrating the outlet seamlessly. It contains an integrated electrical enclosure and is designed to be incorporated into 1/2" or 5/8" substrate material. The platform’s size and orientation offer flexibility in positioning and aligning outlets with other elements in the room.
    • B - Trim Component: This part secures the electrical device within the TRUFIG system. Shims are provided to help adjust for varying device depths, allowing for a precise, flush finish. Trim components are compatible with various fascia styles, giving you flexibility in the final appearance.
    • C - Fascia: The fascia cover plate is designed to blend seamlessly with its surroundings. It can be painted to match the adjacent surface, creating a "disappearing" effect. The fascia attaches to the trim within the mounting platform, ensuring that the device sits perfectly level with the wall or ceiling. Painting and sanding shields are included in every order.
  3. Customize Quantities for Larger Projects: If you’re working on a larger project or need multiple outlet systems, increase the quantity of each component as needed.

  4. Optional Installation Tools: Section 5 includes recommended tools that may be helpful, especially for larger or more complex installations. Please review the Tools Help Guide for more details.

By completing each selection, you’ll have a complete kit ready for installation, achieving a clean, flush finish that integrates seamlessly into your space.

TRUFIG

A Kit of Parts

Watch TRUFIG components in action to see how a simple solution provides a cohesive electrical system.

COMPONENT A

Mounting Platform

Engineered drywall mounting platforms with integrated electrical enclosures seamlessly blend into surrounding, offering adaptable placement for devices and room elements.
COMPONENT B

Trim

Trim components allow a means to attach and secure a variety of devices to a TRUFIG mounting platform. Shims are provided to help the installer adjust for varying device depths to achieve a flush finish.
COMPONENT C

Fascia

Fascias can be painted to match surroundings, blending seamlessly. They attach to the trim within the platform, ensuring a level device finish.

Designing TRUFIG into a project allows technology elements to disappear into the design, but it is important to bring it into the project early on to ensure successful implementation. The base components of the TRUFIG system are installed during the rough-in phase of a project. For instances where TRUFIG is installed into a remodel as a retrofit, TRUFIG mounting platforms can be cut and finished similar to a drywall patch, to prevent swelling.
