The Bocci 22 Removal Tool by Bocci is designed to eject all operative components from mounting plates without disturbing the wall finish. Insert, turn, and pull to disengage the locking tabs and remove any 22 Series component. Compatible with both standard and long barrel components. Required for all Bocci 22 installations. Sold individually.

How do I Install?

Is the Bocci 22 System UL approved?
Yes, the 22 System is CE compliant and UL certified, designed following UL standards 498 and 514D and the National Electrical Code (NEC 2020, NFPA 70). View UL certification.
What surfaces can I install into?
Any surface: drywall, millwork, concrete, tile, stone, glass, etc. There are two assembly options, one for drywall and one for all other surfaces.
What colour options are available?
White, almond, and black. View colour options.
Custom colours?
For larger volumes, Bocci can sometimes work on custom colours or finishes. Please contact us for more information.
Are the outlets tamper resistant?
Yes, 22 System outlets are tamper resistant and bear the "TR" marking on the outlet face.
What junction box should I use?
Standard depth junction boxes are compatible. Must have two screw holes in the middle plane, spaced 83 mm (+/- 0.5 mm) apart.

Is there a GFI/GFCI outlet?
Bocci 22 does not offer a GFCI outlet directly. Code can be met using the TR outlet with an independently sourced GFCI installed remotely in the panel. Consult a certified electrician.
Do I need the removal tool?
Yes, required for all 22 System installations to access junction box wiring. Compatible with all component depths.
Can I mix line voltage and low voltage on one plate?
Yes, if your junction box has a permanent barrier or listed divider with separated raceway. See NEC 2008: Article 800.133 Exception #1 and Article 620.36.
What is the 22.3.6 Keypad Control for?
A minimalist keypad for smart home systems, programmable via CAT5 connection.
Is there a dimmer?
Not currently, but the 22.3.6 keypad can be programmed to control dimming through a smart home system.
Installation Notes
Pre-drilling or pre-milling for hardware components is not recommended until all items are received and measured.
There may be slight variations that could affect the installation of your hardware as many pieces are hand finished / fabricated.
